I have experienced the death of far too many family members and friends.

Each of those people had amazing life stories. Stories of hope against all odds, inspiration, and many of them did things that although unknown to so many others, changed the lives of those who did know them, for the positive.

There are elderly people out there with the most incredible life stories, that have only been heard by a handful.

There are people who have gone above and beyond for others, with no recognition, awards or published articles about them.

There are people who recently rose above the mandates to succeed, regardless of what the current government personally did to them.

The Daily Examiner would like to honour people such as these.
