The Prime Minister was continually interrupted by concerned members of the public today at her press conference while visiting Northland.

One person, pharmacist and Counterspin Chief Medical Consultant Shane Chafin, was vocally persistent, asking the Prime Minister the following questions:

• “Can I ask you what the infection fatality rate for Covid is?”
• “Can you name the woman who’s died of the Covid vaccine?”
• “Why is the vaccine not working in Israel, but you are still pushing it?” followed by the comment “It’s rude to lie to the public of New Zealand”.

The press conference continued to be interrupted with waiata and vocal opposition to the vaccination rollout, lockdowns, and mandates.

Miss Ardern proceeded to shut down the press conference with instructions to move somewhere quieter, where only “accredited media” would be welcome.

The Daily Examiner has contacted Mr Chafin, and Elliot Ikilei discussed the video and alarming issues linked with Ms Ardern and her “one source of truth”.

A notable concern has been raised by some who watched the cancelled public question/answer, firstly:

How do everyday, concerned New Zealanders get the chance to ask their important questions to the Prime Minister, who, it is claimed, is the front face of the entire Covid-19 situation?

And secondly:

Do New Zealanders trust “mainstream accredited media” to report the news without bias?

In an age of misinformation and disinformation, do the established media outlets engage in balanced reporting, or do they participate in partisan journalism?
