The Lone Star Franchise has terminated the contract of Lone Star New Lynn.

This was delivered in an email today to owners Brendan Pascoe and Stephanie Cowie.

Interestingly, this comes as the team records one of the most profitable months to date at Lone Star New Lynn. The team also won three of the franchise’s top four awards in the country last year.

Several commentators have observed such business success as evidence that the decision is more about state influence than the free market.  Lone Star New Lynn will be closed today until further notice.
