A decision by the Government today has resulted in the decision to add Monkeypox to the list of notifiable diseases.

While taxpayer-funded ‘experts’ have been pushing to increase hyper-vigilance in the community, there has been considerable pushback against a narrative now very familiar to western nations.

There is a lot of information being circulated which counteracts the narrative that mainstream media and governments worldwide are conveying. A lot of these online reports have exposed examples of mainstream media and government misinformation.

In terms of the political response, Associate Health Minister Dr Ayesha Verrall announced today that

“While no cases of monkeypox have been detected in New Zealand so far, we are making sure we’re as prepared as possible if any cases do appear here”

“We continue to monitor the global situation and keep in close contact with our international partners and officials abroad. The first cluster of cases was identified in the United Kingdom in May. Since 2 June 2022, over 780 cases have since been identified across 27 countries.”

As mainstream media, taxpayer-funded academics and politicians are strongly fomenting considerable anxiety within New Zealand, many others have been displaying increasing levels of mistrust towards the government. This has been noted as a reaction to the many breaches of fundamental freedoms, a significant dilution of democratic processes and the rolling mandates that have added to the observed damaging economic policies of the COVID-19 era Ardern government.
