Disgraced Actor Found Guilty of Staged Hate Crime

Disgraced actor Jussie Smollett has today found guilty on a raft of charges in his lying to police about a hate attack he claimed had occurred.

Mr Smollet’s initial allegation was that he had been attacked by two males wearing MAGA (Make America Great Again) hats, that they referred to him as “Empire faggot nigger” before beating him, dousing him in a chemical substance and putting a noose around his neck.

Excerpt from police report of Smollett’s allegation

As the investigation proceeded, condemnation from clebrities and politicians was swift, with politicisations of the event observed. One such example was US Vice President Kamala Harris:

The Chicago police were thorough in their investigation, with the lead detective stating that 3000 hours was spent investigating the allegation which led the team to one conclusion:

At the end of the investigation, we determined that the alleged hate crime was actually a staged event

Smollett has denied this, with his lawyer saying that the two Nigerian brothers attacked Smollett in January 2019 because they didn’t like him and that a $3,500 check the actor paid the men was for training so he could prepare for an upcoming music video — not as payment for staging a hate crime.

This type of claim has not succeeded, with the jury finding him guilty.

Through the exposing, there has even been comedy used to advise of the facts behind the case obfuscated somewhat by mainstream media narrative:

Sentencing will be given shortly. While he faces up to three years in prison, it is likely to be much lighter as per having no criminal record.
