So New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has described Israel’s preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities as ‘really unwelcome’ and wants to “see the parties come together and have conversations”.

I’m sorry – what!?

Chris – do you have ANY understanding of this issue at all??

Do you understand that the Iranian regime haven’t even tried to hide the purpose of their nuclear program? That they have consistently and openly stated that their aim is to ‘wipe Israel off the map’??

Further – do you understand that this is the same Iran that funds (or funded) anti-Israel proxies in Syria, Lebanon (Hezbollah), Yemen (the Houthis), Samaria / Judea (the PLO) and the most vicious of them all – Hamas in Gaza??

Do you understand that this funding goes directly into armaments which are fired relentlessly into Israel, day after day??

Do you also understand that this same funding underwrote the Hamas attack of 7 October 2023? An attack which resulted in the mass rape, torture and murder of over 1,200 innocent people and the abduction of 251 more??

Did you and your hapless Foreign Minister Winston Peters bother to give this any thought when you agreed to continue funding UNRWA – an organisation which has been repeatedly exposed as being indistinguishable from Iranian proxy, Hamas?

Did you think about these issues when you recently declared ‘sanctions’ on high ranking Israeli Government Ministers or when you said that you would ‘arrest’ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he entered New Zealand??

Do you have even the slightest concept of the existential threat that Israel faces, from Iran or that Iran has made extremely clear that, once Israel is dealt with, ‘other targets’ (US, UK, EU) are next?

I have to assume that the answer to all of these questions is ‘no’ because no sane or informed person could know all of this and “want to see the parties come together and have conversations”.

Seriously – do you understand just how incredibly stupid and shallow that sounds??

If you don’t understand the issue – please stay quiet. You’re embarrassing our country and endangering our Israeli friends.
